Kerry Pledges to ‘Leave No Stone Unturned’ on Benghazi Culpability

[CNSNews.com]

May 10, 2013

“I am absolutely determined that this issue will be answered, will be put to bed, and if there’s any culpability in any area that is appropriate to be handled in some way with some discipline, it will be appropriately handled,” he told reporters in Rome as he wrapped up a four-day foreign trip.

“But that judgment awaits me in a report that will be forthcoming, and I’m confident that any recent evidence will be a component of that consideration.”

Responding to questions about claims made during Wednesday’s congressional hearing on Benghazi, Kerry said, “The State Department will leave no stone unturned.”

“I’ve already made it crystal clear to the chairmen of the relevant [congressional] committees that I have assigned my chief of staff, David Wade, to be responsible for liaisoning with them to answer any questions that they have.”

Kerry said he had only “seen the most cursory headlines” about the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing and said he would need to get back to the U.S. before he could “catch up to the full measure of what took place.”

GMA Devotes 109 Minutes to Other Trials, But Not One Second for Gosnell Horrors

[Newsbusters.org]

By Scott Whitlock | April 29, 2013 | 11:22

Gosnell_nbc_1

Forty two days ago, on March 18, 2013, abortionist Kermit Gosnell went on trial, charged with the grisly murder of multiple babies and a patient. Yet, in the seven weeks that followed, ABC News has permitted no coverage, discussion or mention of the case, not even a single utterance of Dr. Gosnell’s name.

But that’s not due to lack of interest in shocking criminal cases. Over the same 42 days, the Media Research Center found that ABC’s Good Morning America has aired 41 stories — about one per day — on other sensational criminal cases, including the Amanda Knox re-trial and the Jodi Arias case, totaling 109 minutes of coverage.

So it would seem that ABC doesn’t have a problem delivering the gruesome details of murder cases to morning show viewers, suggesting that the networks’ blackout of the Gosnell case has more to do with the negative light it shines on the abortion industry.

Over six weeks of weekday and weekend coverage, GMA featured the Arias case 22 times. Arias is accused of stabbing and slitting the throat of Travis Alexander, her ex-boyfriend. Clearly, the producers and hosts of the morning show aren’t worried about discussing stomach-churning details. The Associated Press recounted the graphic accusations against Gosnell, including testimony by some of the abortion clinic’s workers that they “‘snipped’ babies’ necks after they were born alive to make sure they died.”

Chavez’s heir to take over divided Venezuela

Venezuela Election

(AP) Venezuela’s newly elected President Nicolas Maduro celebrates his victory after the official…

Venezuela (AP) – Hugo Chavez’s hand-picked successor, Nicolas Maduro, has officially won Venezuela’s presidential election by a stunningly narrow margin that highlights rising discontent over problems ranging from crime to power blackouts. His rival demanded a recount, portending more headaches for a country shaken by the death of its dominating leader.

One key Chavista leader expressed dismay over the outcome of Sunday’s election, which was supposed to cement the self-styled “Bolivarian Revolution” of their beloved president as Venezuela’s destiny. National Assembly President Diosdado Cabello, who many consider Maduro’s main rival within their movement, tweeted: “The results oblige us to make a profound self-criticism.”

Maduro’s victory followed an often ugly, mudslinging campaign in which the winner promised to carry on Chavez’s legacy, while challenger Henrique Capriles’ main message was that Chavez put this country with the world’s largest oil reserves on the road to ruin.

Despite the ill feelings, both men sent their supporters home and urged them to refrain from violence. Capriles insisted on a recount and Maduro said he was open to one, though it was not immediately clear if election officials might permit it.

Vladimir Putin rolls out the red carpet for visit of President Xi Jinping

[UK Independent]

Russian premier gives unprecedented welcome to new Chinese leader as relations thaw

Clifford Coonan | Hong Kong

Friday 22 March 2013

China’s new leader began his first overseas trip as president with a much anticipated visit to Russia today – a symbolic trip that underlines China’s desire to ensure its energy supply while showing defiance in the face of US influence in Asia.

A grand reception was held to welcome President Xi Jinping upon his arrival in Moscow, with guards riding on horseback brought out to greet a foreign leader for the first time. Kremlin guards snapped to attention as Mr Xi and his long retinue walked into the gilded, chandeliered Grand Kremlin Palace, where they met members of official delegations in the ornate St George Hall before sitting down for talks.

“China and Russia are the main and most important strategic partners,” Mr Xi told Russian media upon his arrival. He said he was eagerly anticipating his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “In many ways we speak a common language,” he said.

The grand welcome was a clear indication of the importance placed on the visit by Moscow. Russia is one of the world’s biggest energy producers, and China is the top energy consumer. These realities tend to outweigh the traditionally tense relations between the two neighbouring giants, who were bitter rivals during the Soviet era despite their ideological links.

Russia has watched China’s rise with concern, anxious that it might someday threaten its dominance on its eastern borders. But a bigger concern for the Kremlin, one that it shares with China, is blunting US influence in the region. At the start of talks, Mr Putin described the ties between the two countries as an “extremely important factor of global politics.”

Ahead of Mr Xi’s arrival, he said: “We are working together, helping to shape a new, more just world order, ensure peace and security, defend basic principles of international law.”

Mr Xi said that the relations between the two countries are the best ever.

In recent years, the need to counterbalance the growing might of the US has led to the two to set aside some  differences. Strong trade links have also smoothed some of the wrinkles in the interim, with bilateral trade soaring to a record £58bn last year.

Beijing and Moscow have taken similar stances on some of the biggest geopolitical issues of recent years, from North Korea to Iran to Syria, often voting in concert to veto punitive sanctions by the UN Security Council.

Many analysts believe their relationship is likely to strengthen, especially as the United States tries to expand its influence in Asia, and both countries are firm in rejecting Western criticism of their human rights records.

The two leaders are expected to discuss Syria and North Korea, but the economy is likely to dominate.

Shortly before Mr Xi arrived in Russia with first lady Peng Liyuan, a £1.3bn deal was announced by Russian and Chinese companies to develop coal resources in eastern Siberia. Russia also sees China as a way to diversify its energy markets away from Europe and it is keen to tie up a potentially enormous gas deal which could eventually see almost 70 billion cubic metres of gas pumped to China annually for the next 30 years.

Mr Xi’s tour continues until March 30 and he will also visit Tanzania, South Africa and the Republic of Congo. In South Africa he will attend the fifth BRICS summit.

The five key emerging economies that make up BRICS – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – have become an increasingly important channel for China and Russia to counter growing US influence.

BRICS countries hold reserves totalling £3 trillion, most of them held by China, and China now accounts for 20 per cent of Africa’s exports.

China surpassed the US and Europe as Africa’s largest trading partner in 2009 and has maintained its leading place in the years since.

China’s First Lady: A new role model

In China, the big news about Xi Jinping’s first trip as president has not been about energy, investment or BRICS, but rather about his wife Peng Liyuan’s first public appearance as first lady.

Ms Peng is a hugely popular figure in China, indeed, she was probably better known than him until recently, and adored by millions for her stirring renditions of folk tunes in army uniform or ethnic costume.

“Peng Liyuan has a very positive meaning for China. China needs a female role-model. Imagine what would it be like if China had a First Lady like Michelle Obama?” wrote one online fashion commentator.

Since the cult of personality that built up around Chairman Mao Zedong, the Communist Party has sought to avoid making its leaders too personal. Solid, dull technocrats have run the show, and their wives have been even less visible.

Iranian analyst Alireza Forghani boasted today that Jerusalem, which he claims was invaded over 50 years ago by the “pig-faced” Jews, will soon become a mass “graveyard” for the Israeli people.

Forghani, a strategy specialist in the camp of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, boasted that every city in Israel will turn into a killing ground and the longsuffering of Muslims worldwide “will be justified by the mighty Islamic Iran.” No one then will listen to the cries of the women and children of Israel, the author warned, when Jerusalem becomes “the biggest graveyard in the world.”

Forghani has also previously penned articles that laid out the legal and religious justification for the destruction of Israel and the slaughter of its people, as well as the right of Islamic Iran to obtain the nuclear bomb.

CNN Star Anderson Cooper Admits ‘I’m Gay,’ Bizarrely Claims He’s Been Unbiased On TV

[Newsbusters.org]

By Tim Graham | July 02, 2012 | 15:26

Tim Graham's picture

Longtime CNN anchor Anderson Cooper has finally said it: “Fact is, I’m gay.” In an e-mail to Andrew Sullivan at The Daily Beast/Newsweek, Cooper declared, “I’ve always believed that who a reporter votes for, what religion they are, who they love, should not be something they have to discuss publicly. As long as a journalist shows fairness and honesty in his or her work, their private life shouldn’t matter.”

Well, in that case, Cooper fails, despite his claim “I’m not an activist.” His work on gay issues hasn’t had fairness — matching an aggressive pro-homosexual bias at CNN – perhaps in part to keep angry gay activists at bay.

We can list a few examples, below, but first, here’s the meaty part of Cooper’s note to Sullivan:

Recently, however, I’ve begun to consider whether the unintended outcomes of maintaining my privacy outweigh personal and professional principle. It’s become clear to me that by remaining silent on certain aspects of my personal life for so long, I have given some the mistaken impression that I am trying to hide something – something that makes me uncomfortable, ashamed or even afraid. This is distressing because it is simply not true.

I’ve also been reminded recently that while as a society we are moving toward greater inclusion and equality for all people, the tide of history only advances when people make themselves fully visible. There continue to be far too many incidences of bullying of young people, as well as discrimination and violence against people of all ages, based on their sexual orientation, and I believe there is value in making clear where I stand.

The fact is, I’m gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn’t be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud.

I have always been very open and honest about this part of my life with my friends, my family, and my colleagues. In a perfect world, I don’t think it’s anyone else’s business, but I do think there is value in standing up and being counted. I’m not an activist, but I am a human being and I don’t give that up by being a journalist.

Since my early days as a reporter, I have worked hard to accurately and fairly portray gay and lesbian people in the media – and to fairly and accurately portray those who for whatever reason disapprove of them. It is not part of my job to push an agenda, but rather to be relentlessly honest in everything I see, say and do. I’ve never wanted to be any kind of reporter other than a good one, and I do not desire to promote any cause other than the truth.

Cooper self-deports himself from Truth-land when he says he has no cause, but just paragraphs before, he says he had to come out of the closet to advance “greater inclusion and equality for all people,” to advance “the tide of history.” CNN and many other liberal journalists have granted a large berth to gay activists with “the tide of history” in their minds.

The fan site All Things Anderson counts Cooper as an “undying champion” of the LGBT crowd: “Today when we read Anderson Cooper’s public acknowledgment that he is gay we were elated. Elated not only for him and for the LGBT community, for whom Cooper has been an undying champion, but also for his fans.”

Here’s just a few quick examples:

– This goes back a long time: On June 30, 1997, then-ABC reporter Anderson Cooper provided a long, sympathetic portrait of two elderly gay males marching in New York City’s annual Gay Pride parade. Carole Simpson introduced the story: “The question of legalizing gay marriages has become a political issue this year, but for many gay couples a longtime committed relationship is as sacred as a marriage.” No one opposed to gay marriage was invited to appear.

– On November 28, 2007, Cooper began moderating a Republican debate by telling the viewers at home “all the questions tonight come from you.” Standing up in the audience after being flown in by the debate organizers, retired general Keith Kerr threw a hardball question at the Republican contenders about the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy toward gays in the military. He listed his military credentials and proclaimed he was gay, and then said “I want to know why you think that American men and women in uniform are not professional enough to serve with gays and lesbians?” After several candidate answers, Gen. Kerr interrupted and began lecturing the Republicans on how insensitive they are to gays in the military. Bloggers quickly discovered Kerr was a Hillary Clinton supporter, and not just a supporter, but a man whose name was listed as part of the Clinton campaign’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Steering Committee. CNN claimed they had no idea.

– On April 14, 2009, Cooper crudely joked with David Gergen that the Tea Party were “tea-baggers,” crude sexual slang for testicles on someone’s face. “It’s hard to talk when you’re tea-bagging,” Cooper said.

In a story about the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) accusing conservative Christian groups like the Family Research Council of “hate,” The Washington Post described the SPLC as a “civil rights organization.” But The Social Contract, a public policy journal, investigated the SPLC in a recent issue and found that it used “ritual defamation” as a weapon “to advance a far-left agenda and a device to raise more money from gullible liberals to add to its $200 million slush fund.”

The SPLC is  a “slime machine” that has also targeted the Eagle Forum, the Heritage Foundation, Rush Limbaugh, Lou Dobbs, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Rep. Steve King (R-IA), and Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), The Social Contract says.

The “slush fund” reference is to the $200 million in “reserve funds” that its directors have invested “in hedge funds and offshore bank accounts in places like the Cayman Islands,” The Social Contract claims.

Tom Barrett, Scott Walker’s challenger in the Wisconsin gubernatorial recall election, told CNN this morning that he didn’t ask President Obama to stop by the state to rally Democrats in his support. “We understand he’s got a lot going on,” said Barrett.

Barrett was clearly afraid of being associated with President Obama or the national political scene: “I want to make sure that everybody understands this is about Wisconsin values. It’s not about Washington, D.C. It’s about right here, who is going to control the future of this state? Will it be tea party, the national right wing? Or is it going to be the state of Wisconsin, and I’m putting my money on the people of the state of Wisconsin.”

Mayor Bloomberg’s Sweet Sugary Nanny State

[Cato@Liberty]

Posted by David Boaz – May 31, 2012

“A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down,” sang a legendary nanny. But today’s most powerful nanny, New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, won’t tolerate that. He plans to ban the sale of large sodas and other sugary drinks at restaurants, movie theaters, and even street carts, the New York Times reports.

Mayor Bloomberg has lots of facts at his fingertips: Many Americans are overweight. Consumption of sugar can cause weight gain. All true, and a good reason for Mike Bloomberg to watch his diet.

But why should he watch MY diet? And the diets of 8 million New Yorkers, most of them adults? If he thinks New Yorkers should consume less sugar, let him hold a press conference. But giving people information isn’t good enough for him. Sometimes he gives people information, and they still don’t act the way he thinks they should. So what’s a billionaire mayor to do? He could bribe them, I suppose. But as Otter said, that could take years and cost millions of lives. Well, millions of dollars anyway. So, like Otter, he’s decided to go with “a really futile and stupid gesture” instead.

JunkMan’s Ham Sandwich Segment For 5-15-12

We loves us some polls here on the Ham Sandwich segment of the Sharpe In The Morning Program – even the Quinnipiac poll, which challenges the pronunciation skills of even the best broadcasters.  The latest Q-pollis the first to come out since Mitt Romney emerged as the obvious GOP candidate.  No more horsing around with speculation over which GOP candidate would be the one.  Now that it’s a two-horse race, a lot of clarity emerges. The key figures in this poll spell out some pretty serious problems for President Obama.  Specifically, Romney leads in Florida and Ohio, and despite the fact that Obama’s still ahead in Pennsylvania, he stands at 47%.  The conventional wisdom is that unless a candidate tops 50%, they’re highly vulnerable, because there are still undecided voters.  And Obama languishes below 50% in numerous places.  Losing both Ohio and Florida would be a big problem for Obama, but losing Pennsylvania would be absolute defeat.  And these poll numbers are based on skewed demographic proportions, which means that the real numbers are likely even worse for Obama. We had a feeling that once we arrived at a single GOP candidate, Republicans would slowly, but surely rally around him, and the numbers would start to favor the GOP more.  And so here we are.  And the Q-poll is just the beginning of the end.  With numbers like these, the president is at grave risk of being beaten by a Ham Sandwich.Getting More Focused Now . . .The JunkMan

Meteorologist: Gore going insane with ‘bullsh–’

[WND.com] EXCLUSIVE

May 6, 2012

‘Tipper certainly deserves better than this buffoon’

Al Gore’s now infamous “Bullsh–” speech is evidence the former U.S. vice president is becoming a raving lunatic, charges a meteorologist who exposes the prime disciple of so-called global warming in a brand-new book.

“He’s clearly becoming mentally unstable,” says Brian Sussman, author of “Eco-Tyranny.”

Sussman, a weather expert turned journalist, cites an August 2011 speech Gore gave in Colorado to a gathering of elites at the Aspen Institute, an address that turned into a wild rant filled with repeated obscenities.

During his address, Gore claimed special interest groups “pay pseudo-scientists to pretend to be scientists to put out the message: ‘This climate thing, it’s nonsense. Man-made CO2 doesn’t trap heat. It may be volcanoes.’

IS PROGRESSIVISM THE NEW COMMUNISM?

[LibertyNewsOnline.com]

April 19, 2012 – by Susan Brown
In politics, truth-telling can get you into trouble, even if you stumble upon it by accident. Just ask Rep. Allen West (R-FL).

West is feeling the heat for a pregnant pause he took during a town hall meeting after he was asked “What percentage of the American legislature do you think are card-carrying Marxists or International Socialists?”

“It’s a good question,” West responded, “I believe there’s [sic] about 78 to 81 members of the Democrat Party who are members of the Communist Party. (Long pause) “They don’t actually hide. It’s called the Congressional Progressive Caucus.” The left became unhinged.

Obviously West touched a nerve; before long, members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) drafted their response: “Calling fellow Members of Congress ‘Communists’ is reminiscent of the days when Joe McCarthy divided Americans with name-calling and modern-day witch hunts that don’t advance policies to benefit people’s lives…”

The CPC’s response is just another sign of the political times we live in. But something about their argument doesn’t pass the “smell test.”

While there may not be large numbers of card-carrying communists lining the halls of Congress, there is a clear tie between the Democratic Party’s Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC), Communist Party USA (CPUSA), and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

Moses was a Muslim who brought “the Muslims of the Children of Israel out of Egypt,” according to a lecture on official Palestinian Authority television. The lecture also referred to the subsequent Israeli conquest of the land of Israel as the “first Palestinian liberation … of Palestine.”

The JOBS Act and the Maxine Waters Test

Key Senate Democrats do a job on small business startups that even Maxine Waters and Barney Frank support.

Call it the Maxine Waters test of political moderation. Late last week, this test was failed by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), and Sens. Mary Landrieu (D-La.), Carl Levin (D-Mich.), and Jack Reed (D-R.I.).

They comprise, as Politico writes, “a chorus of Democratic senators… raising objections to a bill designed to help small businesses — throwing bumps in the road to passage of the legislation that had sailed through the GOP-led House and won President Barack Obama’s endorsement.” And this bill, the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act, also won the endorsement of 158 House Democrats who voted “aye” on Mar. 8, including Reps. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) and Maxine Waters (D-Calif.)

Federal Reserve Constitutionality Propaganda Taught To 8-12 Graders

I have written on the unconstitutionality of the Federal Reserve System before and how that fiat money is not to be printed by the federal government in any form. The Constitution is clear that only gold and silver coin is to be coined by the government. Those metals are the only metals they have authority to coin. Yet the propaganda machine of the Federal Reserve is now putting out it’s own educational propaganda material in order to teach 8-12 graders otherwise.

The lesson description begins,

The Constitution of the United States outlines the basic principles of the U.S. government. This lesson focuses on the express and implied powers of Congress and the power of the Supreme Court to decide whether a law is unconstitutional.

Coming Soon: The Commercials that Obama Fears

[American Thinker]

March 14, 2012

By Ed Lasky

President Obama knows that every public statement he makes is recorded and lives forever on the internet.  That is cause for serious worry.  The best campaign ad to run against Obama is one that uses his own words — and those of the officials he has empowered — against him.  When it comes to high gasoline prices, this is a target-rich environment.

Two new polls show that Americans’ opinion of Barack Obama has taken a dive.  The Washington Post headline “Gas Prices sink Obama’s ratings on economy” zeroes in on the impact of high gas prices on his political prospects.  A New York Times/CBS poll released the same day shows a similar dramatic decline and states that Obama is heading into the general election on “treacherous political ground” and also chalks up at least part of the decline to much higher prices at the pump over the last few months.

High gas prices are a particular vulnerability of Obama’s since they affect so many people so many times a week — especially in those battleground states where people are forced to drive long distances.  Each of those signs is free advertising for the Republicans.  They can’t be explained away by Barack Obama’s friends in the media.

Soledad O’Brien critic of Joel Pollak’s criticism of Derrick Bell’s Critical Race Theory

[RedState.com]

Also: this is Wikipedia’s problem, in a nutshell.

Background: Soledad O’Brien managed to look like an utter idiot on CNN on Thursday when Breitbart.com’s Joel Pollak casually eviscerated her over the concept of critical race theory (CRT).

(pause)

OK, deeper background: CRT is more or less identity politics run through an academic gobbledygook filter; some of its adherents have made some somewhat… incautious comments about white supremacy and the sham nature of the American civil rights movement.  This all matters because Breitbart.com’s got footage of Barack Obama as a college student introducing Derrick Bell (H/T: Ann Althouse) – a man who once argued that American whites would happily sell American blacks to space aliens if offered enough in exchange*.  Admittedly, we all do stupid things in college – and if the media had brought up Obama’s collegiate antics in 2008 (or 2004) it’s fair to say that it only might have caused, to use a term from my kids’ favorite show, ‘confusion and delay’ for the Obama campaign.  Neither of those should have been a consideration for the media when it came to doing their jobs – but, hey, we all know that these people think that ‘doing their jobs’ means ‘keeping conservatives out of office.’

At any rate: O’Brien got humiliated, a bit (one rumor is that she was fed the answer, but I suspect that Breitbart.com is right and O’Brien’s just a fan of Bell’s)- and then people started mucking about with the Wikipedia entry on CRT, apparently to make its definition match O’Brien’s.  An examination of the entry’s Talk page indicates that there was what those folks calls an ‘edit war’… and the fact that there’s specialized jargon describing the situation tells you a lot, right there.

Freedom is forged from responsibility

[HumanEvents.com]

March 09, 2012 by John Hayward
Free people are not slaves to their urges.

Now that we’ve all had a few words to say about the inappropriate use of certain words toward certain people, what were we originally talking about, again?  Oh, that’s right: forcing Catholic institutions to act against their religious conscience, and violating the economic liberty of people in general, by forcing them to pay for “free” birth control.

Why are we doing this?  According to leftist agitator Sandra Fluke, it’s because female students at Georgetown are being driven into penury by the financial burden of paying for their own birth control.  She claimed to have conducted a study showing it cost them $3,000 over the course of a three-year law school education for these supplies.  As a result, “forty percent of the female students at Georgetown Law reported to us that they struggled financially as a result of this policy,” by which she meant those stuffy Catholics refusing to pay for contraception.

Right about the time liberals went mad over radio host Rush Limbaugh’s attempt to satirize Fluke’s demands, people began asking where this thousand-dollar-per-year figure could possibly have come from, since condoms are widely available for little or no cost, and birth control pills were readily available in the Georgetown area for less than $10 per month without insurance coverage.

The very conveniently timed burst of outrage over Limbaugh’s comments short-circuited all attempts to challenge Fluke’s fanciful numbers, ten times higher than the actual cost of contraception.  Even a normally fair-minded reporter like ABC’s Jake Tapper simply refused to challenge Fluke’s claims during an interview.  When blogger Ace of Spades called him on it, Tapper’s response was, “If you have issues with her testimony, take them up with her.  If you have issues with what Rush said, take it up with him.”

Well, okay, Mr. Tapper.  Then what do we need reporters for?  Have you at least got a number where everyone in America who has questions about Fluke’s testimony can reach her to obtain clarification?

Well, we found it. And it is damaging, because Barack Obama was as close or closer to Derrick Bell than he ever was to Jeremiah Wright. Obama didn’t merely sit in the pews – or not — for Derrick Bell. He didn’t just hang out with Derrick Bell for prayers. He said:

“Open up your hearts and your minds to the words of Professor Derrick Bell.”

If we did, here’s what we’d be opening our hearts and minds to. This is a close associate of Jeremiah Wright, a man who was quoted by Jeremiah Wright regularly. This is a man who posited that the civil rights movement was too moderate because it accepted the status quo, and believed that the entire legal and constitutional system had to be transformed in radical fashion. This is a man so extreme that, as we’ve reported, he wrote a story in 1993 in which he posited that white Americans would sell black Americans into slavery to aliens to relieve the national debt, and that Jews would go along with it.

There’s far more coming on Derrick Bell. This is just the beginning. And this video is a smoking gun showing that Barack Obama not only associated with radicals, he was their advocate.

Below is footage of Barack Obama praising and hugging Professor Derrick Bell.  It was spliced and diced by the media to avoid showing just how close Obama was to Bell. More than that, a close associate of the Obama campaign, Harvard Law School’s Professor Charles Ogletree, admitted on our exclusive tape, “We hid this throughout the 2008 campaign. I don’t care if they find it now.”

Norquist to Newsmax: GOP Should Take Senate, Hold House

By Jim Meyers and John Bachman

Low-tax crusader and Republican strategist Grover Norquist tells Newsmax the country is suffering from a very weak recovery because President Obama “did all the wrong things” in reaction to the recession. But as pundits tallied up the results from Super Tuesday, Norquist on Wednesday struck an optimistic tone on the GOP’s chances in November.Whoever wins the exhausting battle for the Republican presidential nomination, he points out, the candidate will be a staunch Reagan conservative with a tough fiscal approach on spending. That’s true whether it’s Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum or Ron Paul. But if President Obama somehow gets re-elected, Republicans more than likely will be in control of both the U.S. Senate and the House, meaning Obam will not have any power of the purse.“If there is a Republican president then you can immediately move to do a budget and extend all the tax cuts and begin to cut spending,” Norquist says. “If Obama is still the president, we have a train wreck, and Obama likes train wrecks because he takes advantage of that kind of crisis to try to push for bigger government.“Certainly it’s important to have a Republican House and Senate even with a Democratic president, but it’s difficult to get legislation passed. You can not give the president money, that’s not a bad first step, but you can’t cut taxes without the president’s signature.”

Sandra Fluke Is a Fluke

Sandra Fluke’s controversial testimony before the House Democratic Steering and Policy committee demonstrates why she and other liberals are flukes. Yes a flukes, little parasitic flatworms. While commentator Rush Limbaugh referred to her as a “slut”, conservative writer Michelle Malkin said she was, “a moocher and a tool of the Nanny State. She’s a poster girl for the rabid Planned Parenthood lobby and its eugenics-inspired foremothers.”

From my perspective I would say Malkin has it correct. I found the brief 5 minute clip below to be the most stupid argument given for why religious institutions should provide contraception in their insurance plans. This is typical for liberals though. They want everyone else to take care of them, except when they want to make decisions about abortions and engaging in premarital sex. Then they want to be in control and declare it’s their choice.

Fluke gives an example of a “friend” who needed contraception because of the fact that she is said to have poly-cystic ovarian syndrome in order to keep cysts from growing on her ovaries. Fluke made the comment that her friend had provided the proper documentation that the contraception was not for birth control. Then she tried to emphasize the point that her friend was a homosexual, a lesbian.
