In the world of political hypocrisy, Barack Obama and other Democrats have been attacking Mitt Romney for not releasing more of his federal income tax returns than he has. Ironically, both Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, who have been quite vocal on the topic, refuse to release any of their tax returns.
Coming to Romney’s defense, Donald Trump is advocating that Romney and the rest of the GOP should demand to see Obama’s records before Romney should release any more of his. Trump is not referring to Obama’s tax returns but to his birth and college records.
Trump’s comments were made earlier this week after the revealing press conference with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Mike Zullo, the lead investigator for the Cold Case Posse investigation into Obama’s birth certificate. On Tuesday, Arpaio and Zullo released additional information that seems to clearly prove that the birth certificate presented by the White House for Barack Obama was a forgery and that the act of presenting it constitutes fraud.
In response to the press conference, Trump told Sean Hannity that:
“The fact is Sheriff Arpaio is, in my opinion, correct. Nobody was ever in the hospital by the name of his mother … and a lot of crazy things.”
“If that were a conservative, let’s say a George Bush or somebody, he would have been out of office already.”
“Nobody has more sealed records than this president. So many of his applications … are sealed. He spent $3 million to keep everything sealed. You can’t find out anything about his college. I’m not talking about his marks. I’m talking about his application. It would be so interesting to see.”

A state official in Arizona has asked Hawaii for verification of the information on Barack Obama’s birth certificate, the document that Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s special investigative team has concluded may be a forgery.
Members of the Surprise, Ariz., Tea Party, who petitioned Arpaio to investigate Obama’s eligibility, say they are awaiting word from the state secretary of state regarding whether Obama’s name will be on the 2012 presidential ballot in Arizona.
Secretary of State Ken Bennett had promised to ask Hawaii officials for verification of Obama’s documentation, vowing that if answers are not forthcoming, Obama’s name will not be on the ballot.
The assurance came in an email to various constituents in Arizona who had contacted Bennett’s office expressing concern that the name of an ineligible candidate would be presented to voters in November.

TOKYO — A ferocious tsunami unleashed by Japan’s biggest recorded earthquake slammed into its eastern coast Friday, killing hundreds of people as it carried away ships, cars and homes, and triggered widespread fires that burned out of control.
Hours later, the waves washed ashore the U.S. West Coast, where evacuations were ordered from California to Washington but little damage was sustained. The entire Pacific had been put on alert — including coastal areas of South America, Canada and Alaska — but waves were not as bad as expected.
In northeastern Japan, the area around a nuclear power plant was evacuated after the reactor’s cooling system failed and pressure began building inside.
Police said 200 to 300 bodies were found in the northeastern coastal city of Sendai, the city in Miyagi prefecture, or state, closest to the epicenter. Another 137 were confirmed killed, with 531 people missing. Police also said 627 people were injured.
The magnitude-8.9 offshore quake unleashed a 23-foot (seven-meter) tsunami and was followed for hours by more than 50 aftershocks, many of them of more than magnitude 6.0.

A top officer for National Public Radio has confirmed that many Americans still question whether Barack Obama is eligible to be president, but that the tax-supported organization just isn’t reporting on it.
It was Betsy Liley, NPR’s senior director of institutional giving, who was meeting with another NPR executive, senior Vice President Ron Schiller, when an undercover recorder was running.
In the recording, the two executives discuss how a donor wanted to contribute to coverage of climate change, but only if just one side of the story – the side promoting man-made climate change as fact – is reported.
Liley calls it “complicated.”
Limbaugh: Obama Must Release Birth Certificate

Top-rated talk radio host Rush Limbaugh on Friday questioned why new Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie has not gotten support from the White House in his efforts to resolve the doubts of so-called “birthers” about Barack Obama’s place of birth.
Limbaugh also says he finds it “stunning” that Abercrombie still can’t prove Obama was born in Hawaii as he maintains.
Abercrombie has stated that he wants to put to rest assertions that Obama may not have been born in the United States and therefore is not eligible to serve as president, assertions fueled by Obama’s lack of a hospital-generated birth certificate.
